This Is the World's Only Floating Island Golf GreenBy: Garrett Payne
Ever think you hit too many golf balls in the water during a round of golf?
This is the 14th hole at the award-winning Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf Course in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
Built on a 22,000-ton barge and completed in 1991, this island green can move (WUT) anywhere from 90 to 220 yards from the pin via an underwater cable system -- making it the world's only floating and movable golf green.
The island is only accessible by ferry and completion of the hole at or under par gets you your very own certificate of completion.
Oh, and if your ball lands in the water don't worry -- it just joins the other 20,000-30,000 golfballs that are fished out by scuba divers annually.
